WEDDING.
VUG LA It—BURGESS. A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church, Auckland, 0.1 January 31, the bridegroom being Mr Percival James Vuglar, elder son of Mr T. P. Vuglar, of Paeroa, and the bride Miss Kathleen Emma Burgess, only daughter of Mr J. H. Burgess, of Paeroa. The service was conducted by the Rev. E. H. Grant, Cowen, The bride was given away by her uncl-?, Mr C R. Lewis, and looked sweet in her gown of pale blue georgette, with panels of blue radium lace, and tulle veil and orange blossoms. She carried a, beautiful shower bouquet. Her cousin, Miss Linda Burgess, of Auckland, attended as bridesmaid, and was frocked in oyster shade georgette and crepe tie-chine, witih panels of radium lace, and hat to match. She carried a bouquet of pale pink flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Thomas Heeney, of Gisborne. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride’s uncle, Eccles Avenue, Ponsonby, where a sumptuous repast was partaken of.
