CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES-TO-NIGHT. WHILE NEW YORK SLEEPS. Realism and fidelity to detail are two elements on which the Fox Film Corporation, producers of "While New York Sleeps,” makes its bid for the success of this picture. The photodrama is divided into three acts. Toe first depicts an enthralling incident that takes place in the home of a suburban millionaire. The second episode, gorgeously invested, presents in pictures a version of the notorious “badger game.” In this act is seen an entire dancing numbar from Zeigfeld’s Midnight Frolic, together wit 1 scenes from the Palais Royal, a famous New York cafe. The third episode depicts a tragedy of New York’s East. Side, in which the tense action revolves about a tigerish shop girl, a dumb paralytic, his gentle, tendeiheartcd son, and the gangster leader of a band of thieves. In this act occurs a river fight between the NewYork police boat and a gasoline launch containing members of the robber gang.
