PERSONAL
Mr A. F. Baker, inspector for the N.Z. Insurance Co., Ltd., in the Auckland province, is at present on a visit of inspection to the agencies in Paeroa and district. It is pleasing to report that Mr Holes has so far recovered that he was able tp leave the Thames Hospital yesterday and return to his home in Paeroa. Mr William C.‘ Alexander, bf Paeroa, who has been lately employed by the Electoral Department at the local courthouse, .was last ' night appointed to the position of Town Clerk pf Paeroa, vice Mr P.’ C. Furley, resigned. There were some 26 applicants for the position. Mr Alexander will takp up his new duties immediately.
