' VISITING BOWLERS. '-"'On the local bowling green during the morning a party of bowlers, comprising one rink, were pa.ssing through Paeroa when they broke their journey' and played a match against a rink from the local club. The local bowlers were too good for the visitors, and won comfortably by nine points alter a most enjoyable game. The visitors were loud in ■ their praises of the local bowling green and tiho pretty surroundings generally, and Mi’ Hamiltion, the green superintendent,, was the iccipient of congratulatory remarks ere the visitors continued on their journey._ • BRENAN MEMORIAL SHIELD.
