The association had been shifting about, and it was time, to have permanent show grounds where permanent yards and buildings could be erected. He thought that if the purchase, was tackled in the right way the cost coqld be overcome. The property at £6O an aero was a snip, and Mr Wilson’s offer was a remarkably good one.

R. Hubbard said that he had viewed the land, and in view of the tremendous ' amount of work that required doing he did not think it altogether suitable. Mr Hamilton, thought that tihe land was an ideal spot, but there would have to be an immense amount cf work put into it to make it suitable. It could be made suitable at gjqeat expense. Mr Findlay said that as one of the committee, appointed tp view the ground he felt that jt would be saddling the association with too much altogether. Mr Vuglar thought Fiat the ground was cheap and that the association should reconsider the matter of purchase. Mr D. Leach thought that it was more an opinion as tp whpther hew.

ground was required. “Has \the asspeiatioa affirmed the desirability of! acquiring show grounds ?” asked My Leach. \ The president said that thit was so.
