1922 REVEILLE.
SEASON AT TE AROHA. The spectacular extravaganza which is being staged by 170 performers at the Theatre Royal, Te Aroha, for a season was an instantaneous success, and the change of pro.gramme is to-night. Mr l Lints, like a wise showman, has not placed all his' eggs in mie basket, and the Reveille is like ap opening rosebud—it has new beauties to unfold. Monday’s programme cannot be better explained than two and- a ihald hours of brilliancy. The gorgeous electrical marches are cetrainly brilliant stage spectacles, and worth the price paid for admission. There are morextban 600 different frocks worn in one evening’s programme. Twenty vocal numbers are supported by strong choruses, ten distinctive ballets., and seven soloists. The Reveille is a colossal production and quite up tp the Christchurch standard. The tollowing is What the Christchurch “Pless’ ’had to state about the Reveille’. “It is hardly necessary to point out that in ‘Our Reveille’ an entertainment is prepared which represents a standard in amateur production hitherto undreamed of so far as Christchurch is concerned.” The prices are only 4s, 3s and 2s, and no extra charge for booking and no tax. The production is e actly the same as at Thames, where the theatre was packed for nine nights, so those wishing tp attend are well advised: to book early with Mr Woods,, chemist, Te Aroha.
