The many cabbage trees round Ngatea and Horohia are blossoming better than usual this spring. In some places there are large groves bf them, and they look rather pretty with, their mass of bloom. It is said that the Maoris' believe this to be a sign of a dry, hot summer. Tenders are invited for sale for removal of an old twoi stprey residence, together with fencing and outbuildings.
