The numbers of Salvation Army, as shown in the New Zealand census for 1921, were 11,591 ; the Baptist supporters were stated at 19,926; the Brethren at 11.055 ; Church of Christ, 8640; and Congregational, 7977. There were 2224 Seventlhi Day Adventists, 818 Christian Scientists, 443 Latter Day Saints (Mormons), ahd 431 Society of Friends (Quakers).
