£9,000 Worth of Drugs Found on Pacific Liner.
Narcotics valued at 46,780 dollars were found on the T.K.K, liner Taiyo Marti yesterday. This is the third find of contraband on Pacific liners since the Jones-Mil-ler Narcotic Act became effective in May. A few weeks ago large quantities of opium were discovered on the China Mail liner Nanking and the Shipping Board steamer President Wilson.—“ San Francisco Chronicle,” July 27, 1922.
