GOLF.
The official closing pf the golf sea•son’was held at the links on Saturday afternoon, when quite a number of players took advantage of having the last hit of the season. Competitions were held during .the afternoon, and were keenly contested. The ladies’ approaching was won by Miss B. Walmsley, who also won the putting. The driving was wpn by Mrs F. S. Budd, The men’s driving was won by F. S. Budd.
