His Worship the Mayor, Mr P. E. Brenan, who has been confined to his bed for the past few days, was able to resume his duties this morning.
Mr Vai. Atkinson, the travelling representative of the famous Waikiki Hawaiians. was in Paeroa on Wednesday making preliminary arrangements for the visit here on Tuesday, October 3.
The Auckland Education Board has appointed Miss E. G. B. Whitten to the teach’ng staff of the Paeroa District High School
