WEDDING.
BROW—DOBSON. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Paul’s Church, Paeroa. by the Vep. Archdeacon Cowie, of Hamiltion, on August 31, when Miss Mabel: Dobson, eldest daughter of the Rev. and Mrs Dobson, “The Vicarage,” Paeroa, was married to Mr Martin G. Brown, of Waiuku, second son of Mr and Mrs J. B. Brown, “Bendolba,” Pukekqhe. The church was tastefully decorated with almond blossom and lycopodium, and Miss Florence Dobson presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charmnig in a frock of ivory crepe-de-chine and daintily embroidered tulle veil, caught up with orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of clematis and asparagus. Miss Rutn Dobson, wearing a pretty frock of apricot crepe ide-chine and carrying ,a bouquet of daffodils and freezias, attended as bridesmaid, Mr. Jack Brown, of Pukekohe, acted as best man. After the ceremony a number of relations and friends were entertained by the Rev. and Mrs Dobson at ths Vicarage Later Jhe happy couple left by car for Te Aroha, en route for t'heir future home.
