The chief event last Saturday was the Captain’s trophy, which was won by F. 0. Budd, who returned a card of all square. During the week-end the tie for the best ball four ball for the trophies presented by Messrs Byrp.e and Steedman was played off, Martin and H. Budd defeating Dales and Miller, The Club Handicap was advance! another stag© by H. Budd defeating Hanna m the semi-final. Next Saturday a Paeroa team will play th® Waihi Club on the Waihi Iniks. Players who are willing io travel to Waihi are* asked to advise the secretary as soon as possible. The following Paeroa players are playing for the Waihi Club against Taurapga Golf Club at Katikati on Thursday, 7th inst: Messrs Steedman, Gprrie, Hanna, and Bishop, LADIES. The monthly medal and Mrs Silcock’s trophy, played for on Saturday 'last, were won by Miss F. Walmsley with a. uett score of 79. The following ladies will represent Paeroa against Waihi at Waihi on Saturday next: Mrs Miller, Miss F. Walmsley, Miss Bain, Miss Thorp, Mrs Bain, Mrs Silcock,, Miss D. Poland, Mrs Gorrie.. •
