On Saturday 'last Colbeek with an 80 nett won the men’s monthly medal handicap. Next Saturday the men will play the Four Ball Best Ball Bogey Handicap, players to choose their own partners and opponents. Prizes fp? the above competition were donated by Messrs Byrne and Steedman. LADIES. The second roupd of the President’s trophy and Captain Peacock’s trophy were played for on Saturday, Miss L. Thorp winning the former with 3% points to her credit and Mrs Gorrie winning Captain Peacock’s trophy 10 down. The best cards returned were as follows : Mrs Gorrie 10 down, Miss L. Thorp 11 down, Mrs Silcock 11 down, Miss L. Buchanan 12 down, Miss C. Taylor 12 down.

On Saturday next. August 5, the monthly medal and the Captain’s trophy will be played for (18 holes). Players to arrange own partners.

Dating from next Saturday all matches will be played under L.G.U. handicaps. Players who have not earned their L.G.U. handicaps to plaj on club handicap limit i-e. 40.
