RE TOWN HALL SITE.
Sir,—ln “The Hauraki Plains Gazette” on Wednesday ,26th inst., I noticed that Mr. Cassrels is seeking a buyer for the parcel, of. ground alongside the National Bank. If the Borough Council could see its way clear to buy the ground on Mr. Cassrels’ terms, providing the price is reasonable, I think it would make an ideal rite for a town hall and borough chambers combined, as tlhe citizens of Paeroa have not a suitable building in which to hold.a successful, entertainment. If our worthy Mayor and his wise councillors would, hold a public, meeting and make an appeal to the citizens I fleel. sure that they would meet with a most liberal respond. A RATEPAYER.
