The Electric Power Board is making progress now with the erecting of the poles. They have poles erected as f|ar as the Kerepeehi post office along the main road, so at no very distant date now the residents can look forward to doing away with the old kerosene lamp and candles and have a brightly lighted home. It is pleasing to see the activity again shown by the Lands and Survey Department at Kerepeehi in the building Une. A cottage is in the course of erection for one of their dredgemasters. There is a probability c-f more cottages being erected shortly. Competition will be keen at the sale of sections, in the Kerepeehi township to be held on Wednesday next, at Paeroa, Many residents are desirous o" obtaining sections for the erection of; homes for themselves.
