"MOONLIGHT FOLLIES.’.’ "Moonlight Follies," to be screened to-nig’ t, features Marie Prevost as Nan Rutledge, the spoiled little darling of an over-indulgest father. Miss Prevost has created a new character that will endear her. to the hearts of the public. The story is light and breezy, with a delicious intermingling of the love and comedy elements. Nan Rutledge, the society "Butterfly,” likes men to play with, but npt well enough to marry. But 'Anthony, strong-arm Tony Griswold, comes and shows her that all she needs is a "cave-man” —and love. TO-MORROW NIGHT. “THE PASSION FLOWER.” Norma Talmadgo in “The Passion Flower” will he the feature of) attraction tomorrow night. In the role of the beautiful Spanish daughter Acacia Miss Talmadge has the greatest dramatic vehicle of. her, career. “The Passion Flower” is from the stage play of the same name, from the pen of the greatest Spanish dramatist of the day, Jacinto Benavente. The plot of the story is as unusual as it is powerful; it tells bf the love of a beautiful Castilian maid for her stepfather. a plot that truly makes au appropriate background fpr a storv that bespeaks itself the atmosphere of Spain. “THE SNAPSHOTS OF 1922. THURSDAY NEXT. Reorganised from the pick of the famous “Quality Performers” by Messrs Leonard Nelson and Goo. Sharratt, the “Snapshots of. 1922” are said to be even superior to tlic “Q.P.’s.” Costume comedy has suffered for many years by the lack of talent, and brains in the production. Consequently, it is with pleasure we announce the forthcoming appearance of the "Snapshots,” wjio have brought the costume comedy idea ,to such a high standard as never before attempted by travelling companies. No expense has been spared, and the best brains in the theatrical profession have been ised to produce a company that has gained for. itself a reputation, and the “Dominion," Wellington, in speaking of. the combination, said: “The finest, costume comedy company ever to tour N Z.” With the present organisation a special feature has been made of the [rocking and dressing, while every detail 'has been properly effected in the stage settings and groupings.
