OVER PIAKO AND WAIHOU; At a special meeting of the Haurhki Plains County Council at Ngatea on Monday a letter was read from the Public Works Department intimating that no amount would be placed on the Estimates fpr the Pipiroa bridge. Cr. Harris said that the Kirikiri bridge would be 'held up till semething was done ip connection with the Pipiroa bridge. ' It was decided to write to the member fcr the district asking him to urge that, some money be placed on the Estimates fpr this season for the Pipiroa bridge.
