MILKING MACHINE INVENTION. BY KEREPEEHI FARMER. The invention of a new teat cup for mi.'king machines has been made by Mr. H. D. Jamieson, of Kerepeehi, who recently completed the patenting of !;is simple yet effective device. •‘The difficulty has been for years,” said Mr. JamiesOn to a ‘Gazette’ reporter yesterday, “ to get a flexible teat < up lip, or something which will not. hurt .the cow. The teat cups up to tiie present had pressed on all of the tent except a small portion at the ton. This fact is often the cause -.)f some inflammation setting in. Mr. Jamieson'.-, device maintains equal pressure on each part, of the teat. Its specinl feature Is n double-folded lip rubber. No portion of (ho lout comes under suction without being pulsated. There are no screws or bo’is to keep It in i-0.-ition ; in fact it is simplicity itself, and is estimated to be much cheaper than the teat cups previously made-
