Heappy said that the Netherton ladies were contemplating forming a hockey team. The Kerepeehi Football Club held a very successful dance pn Thursday evening, about 35 couples occupying the floor. Mrs. Potter provided splendid music and Mr. Cahill obliged witn ext-as. Mr. Masters was M.C. TURUASPORTS CLUB DANCE. The Hauraki Plains Athletic and Sports Club held its monthly dance in the Victoria Hall on Thursday evening. There were present about 80 guests, who spent a very enjoyable evening. The dance music was provided by Mrs. Brown (piano) and Mr. D. Hill (violin), extras being played by Mrs. Mules and Miss M. Ansford. Miss K. Miller obliged witn a song. Mr, W. Clark was M.C. STOCK SALE. At Messrs. Buckland and Sons’ stock sale at Turua on Friday there was only a small yarding. Bullocks brought up to £5 15s dairy heifers from £5 10s to £6 10s, and fat cows $4.
