OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN. MR. ROBINSON RE-ELECTED. - At the statutory meeting of the Ohincmuri County Council at noon to day. at which there was a full attendance of members of the Council, Mr A. R. Robinson was unanimously re-elected chairman. Congratulatory references were made to the .work done by Mr Robinspji during, his term as chairman, and a hope expressed that his health would improve with the six. weeks’ holiday he purposed' taking. Mr Robinson replied thanking the Council for the help the members had given him during his term • f office and the expression of goodwill for a speedy recovery. On the motion of Cr. Morgan, seconded by Cr. McGuire, the chairmna was granted six weeks’ leave of absence.
