WAITEKAURI. SOCIAL EVENING. Last Friday a social evening' w.as held in the school-room, Mr Robinson being the promoter. He hopes to be able to arrange to have a sinylar one every month during ,the pointer months. Quite a large number; of people were present, car-loads coming from Waihi, Waikino, and Go'den Cross. Excellent music was supplied by Mrs W. Morgan and Master Morgan. and the floor w.as perfect ,so altogether the dancers had a very good time. The supper was provided by the ladies, and as usual was a very delicious one. The very pleasant evening came to an end about 3 a m. PERSONAL. Mirs Mann, who has been visaing her " mother here, returned to Greymouth on Monday, Miss Fielding going as far as Christchurch with her.
