TILE FINANCIAL POSITION.' A meeting of the Kerepeehi Sports Association was held in the hall on Tuesday evening, the president, - Mr A. Chatfield, presiding over a large attendance of members.. The secretary and treasurer. Mr JTwist ; announced that the club had an estimated credit balance of £72 7s Id. The receipts amounted to £2Ol 12s 'Gd. thie fallowing being the most important items: Vice-presi-dents’ subscriptions £36 15s, gar.? money from sports £6O 18s, dance proceeds (taken at door) £ll Is 6(5, entries far sports events £4l 13s 6d.. balance from 1920 £22, sale of members’ tickets £5 15s. Mr- P. Henry: How have you treated thp deficiency of last year? Mr Twist: We haven’t taken that into consideration. Mr Chatfield : Last year’s debit will probably make a hole in this year’s credit. Mr J. Murdoch, said fhiat about £5O or £66 was outstanding from about three years ago. Mr Chatfield said he knew there were some accounts outstanding, but he did not know it Was as much as Mr Murdoch stated. Mr Twist: I have accounts amounting tr. £47 which should have been paid last year. A Voice : Have you heard anything more about our late secretary ? Mr Chatfield replied that lie had heard nothing definite.. Mr Twist, in reply to a question, said that he had paid all the prize moneys owing, with the exception of one case where he was in doubt about the address and another where there had been doubt about the result of the race. It .was agreed that the secretary had been quite justified in withholding. the prize-moneys under the circumstances. .
