TURUA TOWN BOARD.
special meeting. A special meeting of the Turua Town Board was held on Wednesday evening for the purpose of appointing a secretary. There were present: Messrs J. M. Bennett (chairman), A. C. Scott, J. T. Davies, C. Ansford, J. Mules, and F. Olson.
At tfte Board’s invitation a power board official attended the meeting to discuss matters in connection with the erection of poles in the town district. The Board members had been informed that .the poles were to be put -on the roadside, where they would be in the way traffic. The official conceded to the Board’s request to have the poles erected along the side of the footpath.
