MARRIAGE.

LASLETT—ROIGARD.

The marriage took place in the . Presbyterian Church; Paeroa, on Easter Monday, ,17th inst., of Doris, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs W, Roigard; of the Criterion Hotel; Paeroa, to Mr Cyril L. Laslett, of Hunua, eldest son of, Mr and Mrs Laslett, Green Lane. The ceremony was performed by’the Rev. F. McDopald. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore sliver-striped silk, with an over-dress of white georgette, the panniers and revers being lined with the palest shade pf blue nin'on. The . tulle veil; which was a gift of the bride’s sister, was arranged in mobcap fashion, with a wreath of orange blossoms, and a shower, bouquet of white roses, jasmine, and maidenhair was carried. The chief brides- ■ maid, Miss Doris Yep, friend of the bride, wore pale pink crppe-de-chine and a pale blue tulle hat, and carried a bouquet pf autumn leaves and flowers. The second bridesmaid, Miss El vena Mortensen, cousin of the bride, wore pale blue cpepe-dei-chine trimmed with pale pink rosebuds and a hat of black tulle trilnmed with pale blue and pink rosebuds. Mr Geoffrey Laslett, brother pf. the bridegroom, acted as best man, and Mr Henry Roigard as groomsman. Mrs. Roigard received her guests wearing a gown' of black crepe-de-chine with henna toque apd cream feather stole. Mrs Moore, aunt of the bridegroom, wore a violet cloth costume braided in black, fur cape, and black velvet hat; Mrs Dense, sister of the bride, nigger brown costume and smart hat to match;; Mrs M. Roigard, aunt of the bride, black silk with over-dress of black lace and grey and gold toque;' Mrs 3, Young (Te Ai'oha), henna and black braided coat frock, black velvet panne hat; Miss Yeo, cream fugi silk, cream hat lined with saxe titas silk. The happy couple left for Tauranga ■ via Waihi by car, the bride travelling in a navy tailored costume' and .'navy panne velvet hat trimmed with touches o£ lemon silk. *
