METHODIST CHURCH.
GREAT EASTER EFFORT.. The Methodist Churcn trustees have decided on a great forward enterprise. To provide,for ?. Sunday School, they have purchased the section on the corner of Arney and Willoughby streets; this will enable them to continue tp allo.v their mam street corner section to be used by the public for beautifying purposes. The Karanaghake chur-h is being moved into Paeroa for erection on the newly acquired site. This building consists of a main hail, 45ft by 25ft, to which is being added a nom 25ft by lift, which will be fitted with kitchen facilities for social functions. The building will be entirely renovated and repainted. By advertisement in this issue a working bee is announced for Easter Saturday and Monday, and it is honed to erect the building and get the roof on in the two days. Lead-light windows have been put in the present Church, and the trustees intend to make imp ,- > vements to the interior and renovate and repaint this building also. This, is an ambitious scin’me, and the Easter effort, it is hoped, will make an appeal to all who are willing to assist by this method.
