WAITEKAURI RIDING.

ELECTION ON MONDAY. Since the last meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council Cr. I*. Grace, member for Waitekauri riding, has resigned his . seat, necessitating a' by-election, which will be held on Monday. Two candidates are in the field, Mr H. M. Cprbe u .t,- a gentleman of some years of experience <on the Ohinemuri County Council’ and Mr J. G. Mr Grace served' some eighteen years pn the Ohinemuri County Council, having been elected in 1902. and served as chairman! from 1908 to 1920, being succeeded by the present chairman, Cr. A. R. Robinson/ Mr Grace is also a member of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board, and has a long and ( useflul record of public work 1 to his credit.
