WEDDING BELLS.
CLOTWORTHY—HEAPE St. Andrew’s 'church, Turua, was very prettily decorated pn Wednesday, when the Rev. F Dobson solemnised the wedding of Miss Mavis Heape to Mr Frederick Clofworthy. The bride wore a georgette and crepe de chine frock, beautifully embroidered. She carried a pretty shower bouquet./ The bridesmaid, Miss Vera Lindsay, oE Auckland, wore a cream crepe de chine and georgette frock with .a lemon-colpured hat to match, and carried a bouquet. There were two flowergirls, Miss Dallas Heape, sister of the bride, and Miss Lily Clotworthy, sister of the bridegroom, Mr ARogers gave the bride away, and Mr Leslie Clotworthy was best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bridesmaid was a. pendant and chain, and to tjhe flcwer-girls brooches! were given. The wedding breakfast was held in the Victoria Hall, and the happy couple left immediately afterwards by motor, en route to Auckland. The bride’s costume was of. brown gaberdine, with, hat to match.
