—.— ENLARGEMENT PROPOSALS. y ELECTRIC POWER ESSENTIAL. w Speaking at tihe annual meeting of the Ngatea Farmers’ Union on Saturday Mr McDuff said he understood that the Ngatea factory would be enlarged before next season. Some of the directors were in favour of re-opening the Kopu factory instead of enlarging the one at Ngatea. If the factory were enlarged electricity would be essential for poweh The branch should urge the electric power board to expedite the reticulation of the line to Ngatea. He*" propose! that Mie power board be written to urging the speeding up of the Ngatea line, as the Ngatea factfiry would probably be enlarged and require electric power instead of steam. Mr Hayward seconded the motion, which was carried. Mr McDuff further said that he would refuse t'o -send his cream to -the Kopu factory, as he had received better results from the Ngatea factory than he ever had from the old one at Kopu. Mr Hayward supported Mr McDuff.
