CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES TO-NIGHT. “A RIDIN’ ROMEO.” Stunts'. humour, and thrills are on the programme for tonight, when Tom Mix, the William Fox star, is in his latest picture, " A Ridin’ Romeo.” Mix, as a cowboy, invents many home comforts in this photoplay, some of which may be a help to those whp hate to get up early on cold mornings. But he can’t think of anything that will keep him out of trouble. He loves excitement, but he fails to see the humour in excitement pursuing him. His big heart opens wide when he finds a baby bn a rock. He thinks it has been abandoned He takes it home to his cabin. The next thing he knows the sheriff is after him for kidnapping. Many other big, thrilling and laugh-provoking scenes are promised in “ A Ridin’ Rpmeo,” of which Mix himself is the author. ’ “GOING UP.” THURSDAY, MARCH 30. On Thursday night, at the Central Theatre, J. C. Williamson’s worldfamed aviation comic opera success “Going Up” will be offered. The plot of “Going Up” is topical and bright, and with the well-known music of t|his bright comic opera constitutes one of the most successful of all the recent J. C. Williamson comic operas. The principals include Mr D. B. O’Cpnnbr, Miss Ida Leggatt, and Mr Will Everard, and they will be supported by a big cast. Full ballett' chorus, and orchestra, beautiful scenery and wardrobe. Box plan at Flatt’s, where seats may be reserved without extra ’charge.
