VALEDICTORY.
MIL Gt A. BUSH. On Thursday afternoon a gathering of members of the office staff of the Paeroa branch office of the N.Z. Cooperative Dairy C 0.., Ltd., together with several ifactory managers, was held at the Paeroa office to bid flareA well to Mr G. A- Bush; branch accountant, who is leaving to take up the position of accountant to the Thames Valley Electric Power Board at Te Arolia. Mr W. H. Blakeway, branch secretary, who presided, and apologised for the absence of Mr G. Buchanan (director) and several factory managers, expressed the deep regret of the staff at Mr Bush’s departure and appreciation of his faithful service whilst in the company’s employ. In handing Mr Bush a leather suit case and inkstand Mr Blakeway said he hoped that they would remind him of the v.ery pleasant days spent in the Thames Valley Dairy office, and wished both Mr and Mrs Bush every hapn piness and prosperity in the future. Mr Bush suitably replied,, and expressed his'deep regret at leaving the Paeroa office. A pleasant afternoon tea was handed round by the lady members of the office staff. The branch secretary also expressr ed his great pleasure at having the factory managers present, and took the opportunity of welcoming Mr Bush’s successor, Mr J. Coburn, of Auckland. ■ ,
