PERSONAL.
Mr G. A: Bush, of Paeroa, has been chosen, out of 62 applicants, for the position of chief accountant for the Thames Valley Electric Power Board. The Rev. F. McDonald, Presbyterian Minister at Paeroa, who has been taking the pulpit at Palmerston North during the past month. Has now returned to Paeroa, and will be conducting local services as usual next Sunday. Mr W. Edmunds,J who for a number of years has been ganger at Paeroa, has been transferred to Woodville, and prior to his departure was entertained by a number of his friends and presented with a silver-mounted Pipe. , f, Mr W. Madgwick, ofl Turua, left Paeroa by train yesterday to attend the funeral of his brother, Mr Ernest Madgwick, who was killed in a recent motor accident. The late Mr Madgwick was 35 years of age, and a widow and five children are bereaved.
