JERSEY BREEDERS.
THAMES VALLEY t CLUB. A meeting of the Thames Valley Jersey Breeders’ Club was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Hall, Paeroa, to-day, the president (Mr W. J. Hall) presiding. There were present: Messrs Geo. Buchanan, M. Cripimins, J. Death, E. J. Walters, R. Whitten, J-. Irwin, and V. Du.nlop (secretary). Mr M. Devcich, Hikutaia, and Mr James Irwin, Koniata North, were appointed new members. A donation pE two guineas to the Hauraki Plains A. and P. Association, made by the president of the club on its bdhalf, Was approved of; Had funds permitted, this donation would have been increased. , The secretary was instructed to write to this effect. PLAINS DEMONSTRATION. The president said lie had been askr 1 - ed to arrange Jersey K demonstrations on the Hauraki Plains, one at Turua and the other at Ngatea. The day fixed was Friday, February 3. JUDGES’ LIST. The following motion was proposed by Mr E. J. Walters, seconded by Mr G,eo. Buchanan, and carried unanimously : "That a strong protest against the action of the Jersey Breeders’ Council in removing frond the judges’ list the name of Mr W. J. Hall, an old and experienced judge, and that the Council be asked the Reason for so doing. All present desire to express their high appreciation of Mr Hall’s ability to judge,, and resent such treatment being meted out to him.”
