METHODIST CHURCH.
MEETING OF PAEROA CIRCUIT.
The Paeroa circuit of the Method-, ist Church of N.Z. held a quarterly meeting at Ngatea on Wednesday at the residence of Mr C. W. Shultz. Th2 Rev. W. J. Enticott presided, and representatives of Paeroa and Hau raki Plains were present. Messrs Marshall and Eaddy were appointed circuit stewards. Satisfaction was expressed that the suggestions of the Paeroa circuit to appoint an additional minister to work the Hauraki Plains had received the approval of the Synod. It Is intended to hold services at Ngatea, Kerepeehi, Waitakaruru, Kopuarahi, Plpiroa, and Turua, and will oe usually conducted by the new minister, the Rev. A. Blakemore, the services being advertised each Friday in our church services column. In view of this extension of work a proposal is being sent to the 'conference to alter the name ofi the circuit t 0 “Paeroa and .Hauraki Plains Circuit.” Mr Marshall was appointed delegate to the conference which is to be held at Auckland next month. Mr Dean was appointed deputy delegate.
