ENTERTAINMENTS.

CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES. SATURDAY NIGHT. Dear Patrons, —In presenting to you to-morrow night (Saturday)—the people’s night—“ The Palace of Darkened Windows,’’ featuring Claire Anderson, a picture that Mil] be in keeping with the pictures that have been shown on the last three Saturday nights, from the same exchange, namely, “Selznick’s Pictures,’’ it has always been my endeavour to provide a good programme ■suitable both for. old and young. Some of the exchanges give you a good beginning and then .try to foster all the “junk’’ imaginable on to you, but I am very happy with the thought, and know that I can dictate to them the pictures I want. Thatis why in Paeroa you have such a. variety. We very seldom show a bad picture. We receive pictures from Fox, Paramount, Universal, Selznick, Metro, and British and Continental, so you see I comb the N.Z. market'for your pleasure,. Furthermore, don’t be afraid to come to the Central Theatre because of fleas. We have banished them for good, with Glycerco Com cfitatrate, so hope to see you all at the pictures to-morrow night.—Sincerely yours, H. B. WOODS.
