To-morrow and Friday/ will be something like gala days in the town, the attraction being the monster Grand Bazaar and Entertainment in aidxif the funds for the 40th anpiversary of St. Mary’s Church, and conducted by Queen Carnival committees. There will be a gr,eat profusion of fancy work, produce, etc., in the stalls for sale. Competitions galore, with valuable prizes, should arouse the ardour of all-comers. A jolly Christmas .tree laden with good’ things will delight the young folk, and the Cea and supper rooms will attepd to the/wants of the inner being. ' The great and gay function will be formally opened at 2 p.m. to-morrow. A short address of welcome will be delivered by the Rev. Father Dunphy, at 8 p.m. ,

The. afternoon attendance will be free to all, and;in the evening the very • moderate charges 'of Is for adults and 6d for children will be made. If you z miss this bazaar you might as well dress in King Charles II s,tyle, for you certajnly will be well behind the times. There has been and still is such keep rivalry among the various committees for their respective queens that, by their combined efforts, such display and entertainment is assured as has not 'been witnessed in Paeroa for many a long day. To-morrow and Friday, afternoon and evening, Central Theatre. Join the glad 'throng and help the good cause. It’s a poor heart that never rejoices.
