A meeting of the executive committee of the Hauraki A- and P. Association, held on Saturday, terminated very happily, Mr P. R. Hubbard,, one of the mainstays of the Association, being presented, on behalf of ,tlie Association.. with a handsome set of knives and forks, with handles of mother-of-pearl, and a beautiful case. Mr A. "White, in making the presentation, referred in eulogistic terms te the good work done for the Association by Mr Hubbard practically since its inception. The recipient suitably responded.
