TAURANGA PETITION. OHINEMURI SUPPORT.. The Tauranga petition in favour of accelerating the construction of 1 the East Coast railway came before the Ohinemuri County Council yesterday, and received unanimous support. Cr. P. Grace supported, as did Cr. S. H. Morgan. The completion of the work would hasten the Paeroa-Pokeno line. The chairman, Cr. A. R. Robinson, said the completion of the line would bring more traffic this way, and relieve the congestion on the Waikato line.
