CHAMBER OF COMMERCE APPROVE#.

The proposed formation of a Thames Valley and Hauraki Plains Progress League, as advocated in the “Gazette,” was discussed at last night’s meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce. Mr T. E. McMillan suggested that when the delegates met in regard to the proposed Parliamentary delegation .to the Plains, the matter .of the proposed league should be discussed. Messrs D. Leach and Henry T. Stevens, and W. H. Taylor supported, and the secretary pf the Chamber (Mr Jas- Couper) was instructed to ask ths .Canterbury Progressive - League- to supply a copy of its constitution,, the matter then to be brought up at the next meetins.
