“If our imagination happened to be as well developed as that of our esteemed friend, the Rev. John Dawson,” writes the Opotiki Herald, “we might assert that there were millions of motor-cars at or near, the Alhambra Theatre on Tuesday evening. As a matter of fact there were over 100, and of these only -two were Fords. The butterfatter has evidently not much time for. the cheaper brand of car.”
