PIETY AND PRICES.
Sir,—I note your kind replies to my note on this subject. Since reading them I have had serious thoughts of getting converted, for I had no idea that I was a Bolshevist. T was merely emphasising the economic import of the. teaching of Jesus of Nazareth. If, therefore, these lead to Bolshevism, I had better concede to you the point that piety has: nothing at all to dp with prices, and that spiritual values are scored chiefly in churches. I will, with your permission, return to this matter at some early date : at present I would merely point out that in its earliest stages Religion was separate and distinct from morality, bu;t temples were then abundant. May Religion not to-day be in an atavistic condition and need bowels more than buildings ? E.N.D.
