A WAIKINO CASE.
HEWITT V. DICKSON.
AGAIN POSTPONED.
The postponed, hearing of the Waikino case, Hewitt v. Dickson, was to have been heard at Paeroa to-day. The plaintiff, Mrs Hewitt, claims £l2B from J. H. Dickson for rent, and the latter counter-claims £152 for “ services rendered.” Mr E. W. Porritt apepared for the plaintiff, .and Mr E. J. Clendon for. the defendant.
Although the case was specially, fixed for to-day, the defendant did not put in an appearance, and Mr Glendon had to ask for an adjournment. This was granted, with costs against defendant. Mr -J. Salmon, S.»M., presided.
