Mr Geo. H. Keeling, of Auckland, Is on a visit to Paeroa to-day.
Mr J. Leadbeater, a popular officer at the Whakatane post office, has been appointed postmaster at Waikino.
Mr Hector McDonald, son of Rev. and Mrs McDonald, of “The Manse/’ Paeroa, is now at home on holiday. He recently,completed his apprenticeship to the chemistry profession. Mr G. Stewart Taiboys, surgeon dentist, who has been suffering from a poisoned leg fox* the past week, has so far recovered as to be able ,to resume his practice.
