MILITARY NOTES.
NO. 2 REGIMENTAL. DISTRICT. HEADQUARTERS AT PAEROA. Recently an article appearing in the Morrinsville “Star* 1 (which we re printed) stated in effect that Mprrinsvi'lle in a military sense had pre-emi nence over Paeroa. The “Star” reported, among other inaccuracies, that the officer in command at Paeroa was acting under the O.C. stationed at Morrinsville. The following extracts from the N.Z. (Government Gazette will show that pur Morr.insvi.lle contemporary—whom we believe wrote in absolutely good faith—was misled.
