MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT The present series of picture programmes to be exhibited during this week end contain many powerful subjects that are sure to command attention. The star feature this evening is a magnificent Lubin production which can be justly termed a dramatic masterpiece and is entitled “ Whom the Gods Would Destroy.” Three prominent artists sustain the leading parts, viz., Lillie Leslie, Rosetta Brice and Joseph Smiley. Supporting films of a very popular order contain interest, dramatic and comedy subjects, not forgetting the ever looked for Australian Gazette in which are included cartoons of the moment. The management cordially invite patrons to view this series. On Saturday a new series will be shown headed by a big four reel mutual masterpiece entitled “ Her Shattered Idol.” This feature is a combination of laughs and thrills, featuring Mae Marsh and Robert Harron who will be remembered lor their artistic work in Home Sweet Homo and other big productions under the direction of D. W. Griffiths. This feature is under the same master and patrons will enjoy this picture keenly. A \>ig supporting variety programme has been arranged which contains items of general interest, animal dramas by the Selig Co., scenics, war topicals and the famous Cartoons in a Laundry by Raoul Bar re.
