Lyceum Pictures.

MINERS' HALL—TO-NIGHT An imposing double star programme headed by a stiring Brohcho drama entitled, “ The Ruse ” will be screened this evening. The story reveals the method by which a thieving set of company promotors endeavour to rob an owner of his mine. A big Reliance feature “The Headliners” which is a beautiful tale of the stage supports the star. The latest waxnews is contained in a Topical Gazette, while a big budget of laughter raising comedies supply the variety, amongst them being “ The Healers,” “ Pimples Peril,” and “ Hash House Frauds, the latter being a popular Keystone. An exceedingly good change of programme will be screened on Saturday, headed by the London Film Co.’s big picture “ Alone in London.” This picture is a wonderfully impressive depiction of the Life in London, and is featured by that brilliant artiste, Miss Florence Turner. The film has been well reported oh, and patrons can rely on seeing a master production. A well chosen supporting programme will also be shown, and last but not least, the famous Charlie Chaplin will appear in His Prehistoric Past, a film of over 2000 feet. Patrons should make a special effort to see Charlie in this film they will get a very hearty laugh. Reserves may be booked at MoNee’s, Usual mid-week change next Tuesday.
