Orange Blossoms.

BROADBENT—JONES A very pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church on Wednesday morning the contracting parties being Miss Nina Jones only daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Jones Huntly West, and Mr E. Broadbent, third son of Mr and Mrs Broadbent Huntly West. The officiating clergyman was Rev. W. Lea. The bride was given away by her father and wore a beautiful dress of white silk, trimmed with shadow lace, she also carried a pretty shower bouquet and wore the customary wreath and veil. She was attended by Miss Ida Pickwith who wore a very becoming dress of pink silk eoline and a pretty erophane hat, and carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother Mr T. Broadbent The Church was prettily decorated for the occasion. Miss Simpson presiding at the organ. After the ceremony a sumptuous breakfast was partaken of by the relatives and a few friends, at the residence of the bride’s parents Huntly West. The happy pair left by the afternoon Express, for Auckland where the honeymoon is to be spent.
