FRIDAY, OCT. Bth. George Groom, of Huntly, miner, convicted and fined 20s, and Court costs 7s for a breach of the Coal Mines Act, found with a cigarettee in his possession on the 28th of Sept., 1915, in the workings of the Taupiri Coal Mines Company, Limited. Extended Mine being a mine where safety lamps are required to be used. Thomas Labrum (jun.), of Huntly. carter, was ordered to pay 6s per week for the maintenance of his brother, Jack Labrum, an inmate of the Boys’ Training Farm, Wheraroa.
