We have received from MrC. P. W. Longdill, a copy of his latest work, entitled, “ What is Money, ” Mr Longdill goos into his subject with his usual thoroughness and claims to have discovered a true basis of a stable currency. As our acquaintance with material wealth is only a nodding one, we are not in a position to criticise or praise the production and must leave to those who understand the subject better, the review of the work. We can only say, that we trust that Mi' Longdill’s claim will bo substantiated and that he will reap the due reward of his efforts to establish a surer system of eurronev than is now in voeue
