MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT

The third section of the popular adventures Kathlyn series entitled “ The Temple of the Lion,’will be screened this evening. Miss Kathlyn Williams the beautiful actress who is heroine of this wonderful wild animal drama has been justly termed the girl [without fear. She goes through many hairraising adventures with lions, tigers, panthers, etc., etc. 'the star picture is well supported by a good Keystone. A. special Topical, The Auckland Patriotic Procession will also be shown. For Saturday, Mr Calder has secured Viiagraphs fine picture, “ The Romance of David Garrick.” This is a new version entirely produced by a different company, and is not to be confounded with a one of a similar name shown previously. It is a brilliant play, and is lavishly staged in visualized form. .David Garrick as is well-known was the most loved actor of his period. A strong supporting budget of films will also be screened, chief amongst which are “ Shotguns and Kicks.’’ A Keystone featuring Fatty Arbuckle, and special Topical, showing “Our Wounded Heroes from the- Dardanelles” arriving at Wellington. Reserves as usual should be booked at McNee’s. Usual mid-week ehange next Tuesday.
